Villains take center stage
They are up for The game of The Year banner…IES Villa de Vallecas Villains want victory. And as we saw in the Team Presentation Clinic they have strong arguments to back up their claims
A great clinic, perfectly organized from the IES by GM Iñigo Martínez backed by Linnete Franco, Fullbright Assistant teacher, who, no doubt about it, has been able to translate to the students, the unique spirit of a game like this…a clinic that also counted as special guest with Corey Brewer a professional American basketball player, former member of the University of Oklahoma Sooners an with professional experience in European leagues in Spain, Greece or Italy
And we saw many things…beginning with a sensational fans support that crowded the school alley, following with a solid basketball fundamentals ( maybe with a gap in the 3 point range…) and overall, a truly commitment with the team and the desire to defend the Institute colours..
Villains have show their potential…next Wednesday we will know their rivals..

Los Villanos salen a escena
Van a por el Banderín de The Game The Year…los Villanos del IES Villa de Vallecas quieren la victoria. Y por lo visto en el Clinic de presentación del equipo, tienen argumentos para respaldar sus pretensiones.
Un gran clinic, perfectamente organizado desde el propio instituto con el General Manager Iñigo Martínez , secundado por Linnete Franco, la profesora asistente Fullbright que sin duda ha sabido transmitir a los alumnos el espíritu unique que tiene un partido como este…y que contó con la presencia de todo un jugador profesional americano como Corey Brewer, antiguo miembro de lo Sooners de la Universidad de Oklahoma y con experiencia profesional en ligas europeas como la española, la griega o la italiana.
Y pudimos ver varias cosas…empezando por una gran afición que llenó el patio, siguiendo por una excelente técnica individual…( quizá no tanto en los triples…) y sobre todo, un gran compromiso con el equipo y muchas ganas de defender la camiseta del IES Villa de Vallecas.
Los Villanos han mostrado su potencial…el próximo miércoles conoceremos a sus rivales
